5-String Bass Method/Notes by Brian Emmel.
As a private bass guitar instructor, I have come across many a tune that my students want to learn but the bass line in the song was recorded with a 5-string bass. The student is bummed because they only own a 4-string bass. I tell them and illustrate the advantages of owning a 5-string bass guitar but they shake their heads “NO!” rapidly and immediately! I tell them it’s only a 1-string difference! Some of my students have been convinced and now show up to their lessons with their 5-string bass! LOL!
In my top-selling bass method book titled, “5-String Bass Method,” available on this site or Amazon.com, I will demonstrate the ease of becoming acquainted to your 5-string bass guitar. This video-lesson is the first installment from this wonderful book!
Advantage of the 5-String Bass.
The additional string starts on a lower-open B note. It gives you an added frequency of 30 Hz of a rumbling Brown-Note!
